The Indiana County Commissioners demonstrated at their meeting that it truly was a team effort to save the life of an individual who was seriously injured at the courthouse on October 3rd.
Construction Crews were working on a concrete barrier damaged in a recent automobile crash when a saw blade seriously damaged one of the workers. At the previous County Commissioners meeting, the commissioners congratulated Corporal Eric Lychalk of the Sheriff’s office, County Coroner Jerry Overman Jr. and Commissioner Mike Baker for their actions. Formal congratulations and thanks were given out to all three of those individuals, along with the members of Indiana County’s 911, Citizen’s Ambulance, and Allegheny Health Network’s Life-flight, who were all instrumental in saving the worker’s life. BJ Pino of Citizens said that it was a good example of how everyone working together can do a world of good.
