State Police are asking for the public’s help in finding out who stole some items from a vehicle in Rayne Township. This happened sometime between Midnight on September 28th and 6:30 AM on the 29th. Someone was able to get into the vehicle of a 51-year-old Clymer man as the vehicle was parked in the 700 block of Barr Slope Road and took a Rand McNally GPS valued around $300. State Police are reporting on some criminal mischief that happened early Sunday morning that could have turned into a car crash. Police say that the victim in this case, L. Ackerson of Indiana, was driving on Route 422 near the Yellow Creek Camp Ground when his vehicle was pelted by a large amount of small rocks. Ackerson shone a light from where the rocks came from and saw two white men fleeing into the woods. Damage was sustained to the hood and windshield of Ackerson’s vehicle.
