State police are investigating four separate cases of theft involving First Summit Bank, all reported this week. Police say that somehow, someone accessed the accounts of four people and skimmed off more than a thousand dollars.
The amounts stolen from the victims ranged from $212 to $296. The victims are a 35-year-old man from Center Township and three people from White Township: a 59-year-old woman, a 26-year-old woman, and a 21-year-old man.
Police say the thefts came by accessing the victims’ accounts through debit card and credit card information.
