The Steelers are getting ready to host the Bengals on Sunday, and dealing with some distractions from this past weekend. One of those controversies was safety Mike Mitchell’s hit on the knees of Chiefs’ quarterback Alex Smith in the fourth quarter. Mitchell says he was not trying to hurt Smith but was knocked into him. Smith says to look at the tape.
Wide receiver Martavis Bryant says he is not seeking a trade from the Steelers, unless it’s to the NBA champion Golden State Warriors. An NFL Network report Sunday claimed Bryant is unhappy that he is not being used enough and wants out of Pittsburgh.
Cincinnati is coming off of its bye week and is 2-and-3. Pittsburgh has won four-straight in the series, including the 2016 AFC Wild Card game.
