CHERRYHILL TOWNSHIP
State police say the suspect is known in a drug-related incident Tuesday evening at the Regency Square Apartments in White Township. It happened shortly before 8 PM when the suspect, a man who is not publicly identified, demanded that Thomas McGhen get him some heroin. The two were arguing about it when the suspect went to the parking lot and got a handgun, waving it over his head and making threats against McGhen. The investigation continues.
An Indiana woman reported to state police that a man who was supposed to be taking her car to be inspected never brought it back last week. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of 39-year-old Brian James Slater. Betty Shaffer of Cherryhill Township gave the keys to her Hyundai Tucson on October 2nd. As of last Friday, it had not been returned.
Slater has no known address. The vehicle is gold in color and has Pennsylvania registration JCS 8040. Anyone with information on the case is asked to call police at 357-1960.
WHITE TOWNSHIP
Police say Brandon Henry of Indiana has been charged with retail theft for stealing hunting supplies from the White Township Walmart store. Police say that on Tuesday afternoon, Henry walked to the sporting goods section of the store and put a buck grunt call and a knife set in a backpack he was carrying. He was apparently unaware that he was being watched by store security.
HOMER CITY
Two 15-year-old girls are being investigated for disorderly conduct after police say they planned a fake fight in a Homer Center High School restroom in order to receive a school suspension.
