While a lot of festivities have been going on in the days leading up to today, IUP will officially welcome its alumni back to campus today for Homecoming.
Highlights of today’s homecoming activities include the parade, which starts at 10:00 today and the game. The parade’s theme this year is “Mother Nature, Ecosystems of the World.” The parade will start at 11th and Philadelphia Street and make it’s way down Philadelphia to 6th Street, turn south on to church street, turn to Oakland and disband at the intersection of Oakland Avenue and 11th street. Drivers can expect some road closures and parking limitations this morning along Philadelphia Street and the remainder of the parade route.
Starting at 11:30, the KCAC will host the Crimson Huddle, which will act as a pre-game party before IUP takes on Califonia in the Coal Bowl starting at 2:00.
After the game, there will be a lot of activities including the official Homecoming Party at the KCAC from 9PM tonight to 2 AM Sunday morning hosted by the Center for Multicultural Student Leadership. This event is open to current IUP students only.
