Helen Louise “Honey” Paratto, age 85, of Luciusboro Rd. Blairsville, PA died October 4, 2017 At Bethany Place, Indiana. Helen was born on February 28, 1932 in Pittsburgh and was the daughter of Thomas and Mary (Lupjo) Lebda. She was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, cooking, walking and going out to dinner.
Helen is survived by children Alan and wife Denise, Homer City; David and wife Laura, Blairsville; and Cynthia and husband Richard Ringler, Jr. Fort Bragg, NC. She was also survived by stepson Richard McCleod and wife Donna, Receda, CA. and grandchildren Angela DeVesty, Anthony Paratto, Lee Paratto, Richard Ringler, Kristina Ringler, and Kevin and Adam McCleod.
Helen was also survived by sister Joann DeLong, Roaring Springs, PA.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband Richard, brothers John and Thomas Lebda and sister Ann Zias.
Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. A blessing service will be held Saturday at 9:30 AM at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Coral Site. Interment to follow in the St. Francis Cemetery.
