State Police have announced the arrest of seven individuals and the issuing of over 35 warrants on drug related charges in Indiana County and the surrounding areas.
State Police Troop A’s vice unit along with the Indiana and Greensburg Barracks, US Marshals and the State Parole office have worked for the better part of a year on this roundup and today, they announced they are serving warrants on 21 people on charges of Possesion with intent to deliver a controlled substance. Seven suspects are already in Jail pending their arraignment:
- Robert Joseph Oddy of Blacklick
- Shaun Ray Jodon of Blairsville
- Dennis Fryer Jr. of Blacklick
- Roger Daniel Miller of Indiana
- Ursula Guntrum of Indiana
- Jamie Leann Kelly of Sagamore
- Larry Wayne Kelly Jr. of Sagamore
Four of those suspects are already in custody on unrelated matters.
- Frank Gardner of Indiana
- Ryan Rich of Blairsville
- Robert Alton Peiffer of Blairsville
- Shawn Micahel Aukerman of Blairsville
The other seventeen people are from areas throughout Indiana County and the surrounding areas. Public Information Officer Cliff Greenfield with the State Police says that these arrests are part of the overall daily work they do.
Indiana County District Attorney Pat Dougherty says the battle against drug and opioid addiction is still going on, but these arrests make a large dent in the distribution of drugs in Indiana.
