The White Township Supervisors got a look at how much flood damage was reported in the recent flooding incidents at last night’s meeting.
The supervisors got to look at a map put together by interns working for the township that showed impacted areas broken down by specific issues from stream flooding to infrastructure failures to floor drain backups. Matt Genchur, the township’s code enforcement officer said that this map will be a big help in communicating how much damage was done to federal and state emergency management agencies.
In other business, the township got notification of their minimum municipal obligation concerning the township’s pension for this year. The township’s obligation cones to $24,147, with the state’s contribution coming to $96,310. Leaf Pickup has been scheduled for the township on Monday’s starting October 23rd and going till November 20th. Leaves must be in biodegradable paper bags and placed on the curb for pickup. Finally, trick or treat time was set for Halloween Night, October 31st from 6-8 PM.
