State police say a 47-year-old Avonmore woman with numerous suspensions of her driver’s license was caught for that violation three weeks ago and compounded her trouble by telling them a phony story.
It happened September 4th at the White Township Walmart store. Police say 47-year-old Jacqueline Pratt told them she was actually Tammy Pratt, Jacqueline’s sister, and that Jacqueline was in the hospital with a brain tumor. But surveillance video shows Pratt and a juvenile female entering the store, walking to the opposite entrance, and after considering going back outside to the parking lot, instead retreating to the back of the store and leaving through the garage exit, where they ran through the rear parking lot and disappeared into the woods.
Police say it was learned that Pratt had sixteen prior citations for driving while suspended. She is now charged with that offense again, plus false ID to law enforcement.
