The Marion Center School Board accepted the resignation of a staff member and approved the hiring of other faculty and staff members at the September 25th meeting.
The board accepted the resignation of John Shick effective July 19th. Shick served Marion Center as a custodian for 23 years.
Additionally, the board filled a 4-hour position in the Nutrition Services department, hired a lifeguard, and added two teachers to the Professional substitute list.
Lastly, the board approved a request to move forward with the 6th grade Washington DC field trip, as well as the annual JROTC trip to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Greene County Ohio.
