The Indiana Area Collaborative Team – also known as “I-ACT” – has invited the public to its fall meeting next Monday, just before IUP Homecoming weekend.
I-ACT was formed three years ago by leaders from IUP, Indiana Borough, White Township, and Indiana County. Its mission is to develop strategies to deal with disruptive gatherings and behaviors in the community. It includes an executive team and four subcommittees representing the Landlords Association, law enforcement and EMA services, public relations, and the IUP Student Leadership Team.
The meeting on Monday is scheduled from 5:30 to 7 PM at the Kovalchick Complex PNC Room. The format calls for reports from each subcommittee followed by a question and answer session.
