PENGUINS LOSE PRESEASON OPENER

Before a sell-out crowd of 6,222 at Penn State’s Pegula Ice Arena, the Buffalo Sabres edged the Penguins in their preseason opener, 4-3.

The Pens will host the Detroit Red Wings tonight at the PPG Paints Arena at 7 pm.
