The White Township Supervisors last night heard updates on two road projects.
One project is the ongoing Shelly Drive project, which, according to Township Manager Milt Lady, will relocate a Sanitary Sewer Line in the area. This is an effort to prevent future flooding
Lady said a notice to proceed letter was sent to Ray Winters and Sons of Indiana, who will work on the project, and they hope to start as soon as next week.
Another project that is looking to get underway soon is the Muller Road project. That project will fix a portion of road that has eroded away due to rainwater. Assistant township manager Chris Anderson said some jersey barriers and temporary stop signs will go into place to keep people away from the eroded area.
Anderson said that engineers are working on the project’s design, which will include a new route for Muller Road.
