State police report another wave of thefts from vehicles, and the incidents happened all over Indiana County.
Someone stole pocket change and cash from numerous unlocked vehicles parked along Quincy Circle in White Township early last Wednesday.
That same morning, between 3 AM and 6 AM, vehicles along Third Avenue in Center Township, and Jeffrey Street, Linda Lane, and Reston Drive in White Township were broken into. In those cases, a male suspect was seen, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and a backpack, and riding a bicycle. He’s said to be white, about 25 to 30 years old, and has dark-colored hair.
On August 31st, a thief stole prescription pain pills, a CD disc changer, and two rolls of quarters from an unlocked car parked along Zenith Road in Green Township. The victim is a 34-year-old Cherry Tree man.
Two deep-well sockets were stolen from an unlocked pickup truck along Prides Way in East Wheatfield Township overnight August 29th. The owner is a 69-year-old Seward man.
If you have any information on any of these incidents, you are urged to call state police at 357-1960. And police ask that you lock your vehicles and keep anything of value out of sight.
