Memorial ceremonies continued today at noon at the Indiana County Courthouse. The ceremonies were organized by Indiana County Sheriff Bob Fyock and Indiana County Commissioner Mike Baker.
During the ceremony, Baker talked about serving at the Flight 93 crash site to help set up efforts near Shanksville, and seeing the American Spirit there. He added that he never returned to the crash site until earlier this year at the behest of a county fire chief.
Also speaking at the ceremony was the head of the Indiana County Fire Chiefs Association Melvin Benamatti, who said he was proud to be part of the brotherhood of first responders, who help out in times of need.
