Plea Court is scheduled today for several defendants in county court, including Jonathan McLaurine, a 35-year-old Indiana man charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver, simple possession, prohibited possession of a firearm, two counts of endangering the welfare of children, and a single count of receiving stolen property.
McLaurine and his wife, Alison, were arrested in January after a raid at their home on South Walnut Street. 91 stamp bags of heroin and about one gram of crack cocaine were seized along with a handgun, and authorities found the couple’s two children were in danger from the “deplorable” conditions in which they were living. Alison McLaurine passed away in April.
Janelle Bartlebaugh of Indiana will enter a plea on charges of theft and retail theft.
John Allen Taylor will enter a plea to charges of unauthorized access device and receiving stolen property.
Dante Scott of New Kensington will plead to a host of charges, including possession with intent to deliver, receiving stolen property, prohibited possession of a firearm and related offenses, plus traffic violations.
