Things may get a bit loud tomorrow morning on the IUP campus, but there’s no cause for alarm as IUP Police and the Office of Communications and Marketing conducts a test of the university’s Emergency Notification System.
Students and the university community will receive a text message when the test begins at around 10:45 AM. The IUP website home page will switch to “emergency status” during the test and announcements will be heard over the emergency notification PA system from the Sutton Bell Tower and the Miller Stadium public address system.
