One of the three men charged with homicide in the death of a Cherryhill township couple will have his case transferred to Juvenile Court.
Indiana County District Attorney Patrick Dougherty confirmed Judge Thomas Bianco yesterday ruled that 18-year-old Isaiah Scott will be tried as a juvenile. Scott was 17 last October when police say he went with Justin Stevenson and Nathan Price to the apartment of Timothy Gardner and Jacqueline Brink to rob Gardner of drugs and money. Police say Price and Stevenson, who were over 18 years old at the time, beat Gardner to death in the robbery, and then killed Brink to keep her from talking. Scott allegedly just stood by while the beatings happened, and eventually fled the scene.
A motions hearing for Stevenson is set for September 16th, and both will have criminal call hearings on October 6th.
