As the Indiana County Fair enters its final two days, attendance for the fair seems to be keeping pace with last year.
According to Ed Nehrig of the Indiana County Fair Board, attendance at the fair got off to a slow start, but it picked up as the week went on. Nehrig expects the fair attendance numbers to exceed last year’s levels by the time the fair wraps up on Saturday.
The fair continues today, with the main grandstand attraction tonight being the first of two consecutive nights of tractor pulls. Tonight’s pulls will feature the limited pro stock tractors and smoker series big rig semi’s pull. Tomorrow will feature a demo derby on the track at noon and the stock-semi, tri-axle dump, and open gas, open diesel and 4 by 4 pull. The tractor pulls start at 7:00 PM each night.
