David B. Zapor, 69, of Indiana, passed away Thursday, Aug. 24, 2017, at UPMC Mercy Hospital.
A son of the late John and Esther Mae Reagan Zapor, he was born Oct. 3, 1947, in Indiana.
Mr. Zapor was a graduate of Penns Manor High School and the Mine Safety School through Penn State. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Mr. Zapor was a miner at Mears Coal Company and later he was the owner/operator of The Video Shop in Barnesboro. He was a dedicated husband and father and enjoyed gardening and long drives in the country.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Bonnie Louise Cronan Zapor, of Indiana; a daughter, Bobbie Jo Zapor, of Indiana; a brother, John R. Zapor and wife Rose Marie, of Denver, CO; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There is no visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Robinson-Lytle, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
