State police say an arrest warrant has been issued for a Blairsville man who is accused of aggravated assault on a Blairsville Borough police officer.
The incident happened at 1:11 AM on August 14th when the officer went to a home on the 400 block of East Brown Street to conduct a welfare check. As he investigated, he was assaulted by the 48-year-old suspect. The report does not say if there were any injuries.
