Police report an incident of underage drinking and several crashes.
Indiana Borough Police responded to the 300 block of Washington Street at 3:40 Sunday morning for a report of a male knocking on doors. Police identified 20-year-old Wyatt Crusan of Las Vegas, NV, who was visibly intoxicated. Crusan was charged with underage drinking, public drunkenness, and criminal trespass, and was lodged in the Indiana County Jail until sober.
State police have issued several accident reports, including one that happened Saturday night on Route 286 in Rayne Township. Police say 76-year-old Robert Ailes of Clymer lost control of his pickup, which traveled up an embankment near Houck Road and struck a tree. Ailes suffered minor injuries and was taken to the Indiana Regional Medical Center.
No one was injured Friday evening in a two-car crash on Oakland Avenue in White Township. Police say 26-year-old Albert Kreis of of Clarks Summit, PA, pulled out in front of 18-year-old Brandy McCrory of Dixonville, and the two collided.
There were no injuries in an accident Thursday morning in the parking lot of IRMC at Chestnut Ridge in Burrell Township. Police say 81-year-old Joseph Tighe of Homer City hit the gas pedal instead of his brake and struck a shrub, a sign, and a concrete post.
A Seward man was taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center after a crash Wednesday afternoon on Route 56 in Armagh. Police say 53-year-old Jack Oaks failed to stop for slowing traffic in front of him and swerved to the right, hitting a utility pole.
