The White Township Supervisors awarded the contract for the Shelly Drive project at last night’s meeting.
At the previous meeting, township manager Milt Lady opened bids for the project that would relocate a sanitary sewer line in the area. The supervisors tabled accepting the low bid from Ray Winters and Sons of Indiana while the sanitary sewer engineer took a closer look at the bids. Lady reported that there were no problems with the bid, which came in at $48,547.50.
The supervisors also awarded the design bid a project that would fix a portion of Muller Road that has eroded away from rainwater. The supervisors plan on designing a new route for Muller Road rather than fixing the eroded area.
