Doraine F. “Rainey” Myers, 86, of Indiana, passed away Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, at his home.
The son of the late Chester E. and Helen Barbor Myers, he was born Dec. 20, 1930, in Indiana.
Mr. Myers was a graduate of Indiana High School and Carnegie Mellon University. He served in the U.S. Army Reserve and had worked for Bell Telephone and AT&T. Mr. Myers was a member of the Indiana Elks B.P.O.E. 931 and Calvary Presbyterian Church, where he served as a Deacon and Elder.
He is survived by his wife, Cleone Chrisman Overdorff Myers, whom he married Sept. 14, 1991; a daughter, Doreen “Deanie” Fast and husband Thomas, of Littleton, CO; daughter-in-law, Linda Myers, of Indiana; two grandchildren, Marissa Fast and husband Jacob, of Littleton, CO; Chelsea Fumich and husband Frank, of Arlington, VA; twin great granddaughters, Ava and Gracie Fumich, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Gresh Myers, whom he married June 20, 1951 and who passed away April 24, 1987; a son, Dale F. Myers; his twin brother, Donald Myers; and his sister, Betty Lou Blanchard.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Robinson-Lytle, Inc. Additional visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. David J. Hanna officiating. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery.
