Some people in Indiana County were also affected by power outages.
On Tuesday, several REA Energy Customers were without power due to the storms. An exact reason for the outage was not given, but representatives with REA reported that 2,450 members in Indiana and Cambria counties, along with customers in Westmoreland County, were without power. REA Line crews worked throughout the night to repair the damage done and restore power to all customers.
No official word yet from Penelec on any outages affecting their customers.
