PSP-INDIANA
State Police are investigating another reported burglary at Martin’s General Store in Rayne Township. Troopers say this attempted burglary happened on July 30th around 4:25 in the morning. A white man used a crowbar to try and enter the store on Route 119 north, but was unsuccessful. Police did report the would-be burglar damaged two doors and a lock in his attempt. This marks the second time in a month that a burglary was reported at the general store. If you have any information, call state police at 724-357-1960.
State Police are still investigating a theft that happened sometime in a 10-day span in early August. Police say that someone stole $6,000 from an unsecured vault in the area of Shady Grove Road in West Wheatfield Township between August 5th and 15th. State Police say that if you know anything related to the theft, call them at 724-357-1960.
INDIANA BOROUGH
Another theft from a vehicle was reported, this time in Indiana Borough. Police say between 12:30 AM and 4:00 PM on August 22nd, someone was able to get in a vehicle parked on South Walnut Street and took a purple and camoflauge-styled purse.
