YOUNG TOWNSHIP
State police say a Young Township man has surrendered to face domestic violence charges for an incident Sunday evening.
23-year-old Nicholas Lentz of McIntyre is accused of choking the victim, a juvenile female, during an argument. Police say he slammed her into a wall and threw her to the floor by her hair. Lentz had fled the home before police arrived. Troopers then obtained an arrest warrant charging him with felony strangulation along with simple assault and harassment. He turned himself in without incident yesterday.
RAYNE TOWNSHIP
Police are searching for a suspect in a store burglary in Rayne Township. It happened August 7th just after 11:30 PM when a mal wearing a hoodie, light blue jeans, and a ball cap forcibly entered Martin’s General Store along Route 119 and stole several packs of cigarettes and some energy drinks. Police offer no further description, but they do believe the suspect is a local resident. If you know anything about it, you’re asked to call 357-1960.
WHITE TOWNSHIP
There’s been another vehicle burglary in White Township. Someone got into an unlocked vehicle parked along Wida Road on August 10th. Some pocket change was stolen.
