INDIANA BOROUGH
Indiana Borough Police have accused two people of drug-related crimes. Police say on August 10th at 1:33 AM, police pulled over a car on North 7th Street for a motor vehicle violation. That’s when they came across 24-year-old Stephanie Zimmerman of Greensburg, and 29-year-old Robert Anthony of Branden, Mississippi. When police searched the vehicle, they found marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The two face charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Complaints have been filed through District Judge Guy Haberl’s office.

No one was injured, but a Blairsville man was charged with DUI for a crash early Sunday morning. State Police say the crash happened on Route 286 at the intersection with Third Street. 24-year-old Dylan Mack of Blairsville was driving his car west on Route 286 and failed to go through a left curve and went off the roadway. The car hit a utility pole, spun clockwise and went through some shrubbery before stopping. Police later discovered that Mack was under the influence of Alcohol. Police also say he was speeding.
State Police are investigating a theft from a motorcycle shop in White Township. Police say on August 15th, an un-named 21-year-old man from Shelocta stole a GoPro camera from Tom’s Cycles around 5:47 PM.
State Troopers are also investigating a theft at the Kwik Fill station in Center Township on Sunday. Around 1:41 PM, an unknown man filled up his car with gas at the Route 119 Kwik Fill, but drove off without paying for it. $33 worth of gas was stolen. Police say he was driving a red Chevy Impala.
