Today is the last day for people to take a flight aboard a historic aircraft at the Jimmy Stewart Airport.
A Ford Tri-Motor airplane from the Experimental Aircraft Association has spent the weekend in Indiana providing sightseeing tours of the area. The plane, built in 1928, was one of the first mass-produced airplanes in the United States and was used for one of the first commercial flight companies, Transcontinental Air Transit, which would later become TWA airlines. The EAA brought the plane to the Jimmy Stewart Airport as part of a tour of the Midwest before it heads to Florida for the winter months.
Flights are available today until 5:00 PM at the Jimmy Stewart Airport.
