State Police in Greensburg have identified the body of a woman who was found dead in Fairfield Township, Westmoreland County.
Police say the woman who was found dead on Monday morning was 33-year-old Laura Rebcca Ingalls-Hood, who went by the name of Laura Hood. She was found by road crews doing work on Route 711 near Mirror Lake and was wearing black work-out pants and a red shirt. State Police have also announced that her death has been ruled a homicide based on the results of an autopsy.
