Sarah Leone (Cunkelman) Weatherford, 78, of Oklahoma, formerly of Blacklick Twp., PA, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, August 15, 2017.
The daughter of John G. and Bertha A. (Taylor) Cunkelman, she was born September 25, 1938 in Blacklick Twp. She was the 12th of 13 children born and reared on a dairy farm.
Sarah was an active member of the Southern Oaks Free Will Baptist Church for almost 50 years. She was a former officer and active member of multiple Masonic organizations including Harmony OES, White Shrine, Daughters of the Nile and volunteered many years with International Order of the Rainbow for girls.
She retired from the OKC Public School System. She was an ardent Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved Elvis.
Surviving are her daughter, Sonnya Cudd and her husband, B.K. Cudd III; daughter-in-law, Shelley Weatherford; six grandchildren, Sarah, Johan, Larson and Shannon Varenhorst and Paden and Hilary Weatherford; a sister, Bertha McConnaughey; two brothers, Oliver and Paul Cunkelman and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 52 years, Luther Grant Weatherford; her two sons, William Grant and Walter Gilmore; a sister, Ruth Fink and eight brothers, William, John, George, David, Ralph, Walter, Willis and Earl.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the Jacksonville Presbyterian Church, 127 Mill St., Kent, PA with Pastor Dan Cunkelman officiating.
Interment will be in Edgewood Cemetery, Saltsburg, PA.

Pennsylvania is one of fifteen states that does not require any form of identification in order to vote. Meanwhile, eight states require photo ID in order to vote with no exceptions. What should Pennsylvania do?
