State Police are still looking for the person behind the wheel of a car involved in a crash in a church cemetery in Plumcreek Township in Armstrong County.
State Police say on August 13th, around 1:45 PM, there was a one-vehicle crash in the St. Thomas United Church of Christ Cemetery on Gastown Road. An unknown vehicle going south on Gastown road went off the road, and the driver’s side mirror hit a tree. The vehicle went through the cemetery, hitting six headstones before going back on the road and continuing south.
Police have described the vehicle as a gray-colored SUV, and do not have a description of the driver. If you have any information on the crash, State Police want to hear from you, and you can call the Kittanning Barracks at 724-543-2011.
