Fair season begins Sunday with a worship service and the crowning of the queen at the Great Dayton Fair.
Activities got underway Saturday with an antiaque tractor pull, as exhibitors and attractions moved in.
Sunday’s schedule includes a horse, pony, and mini horse pulling contest at 1 PM, and at 7 PM, ventriloquist Jimmy Swogger and Friends perform at the Vesper Service. That’s followed by the corning of the Dayton Fair Queen at 8.
The fair officially opens Monday at 1 PM and amusement rides begin at 3 PM.
