WHITE TOWNSHIP
State police have issued several accident reports, including one on Sunday evening on Grandview Avenue in White Township. Police say 20-year-old Brandon Dixson of Indiana was traveling at “excessive speed” when his vehicle slipped off the road. He over-steered getting back on the road, then fishtailed into some railroad ties in the gravel parking area of a home, where his car struck a parked demolition derby car, pushing it into another demo derby car. Dixson was not injured.
Police have also reported on a crash on July 30th in White Township. It happened on Martin Road when a pickup driven by 18-year-old Daniel Cribbs struck a utility pole. Cribbs was cited for driving while suspended or revoked. He was not hurt.
WESTMORELAND COUNTY
No police report is yet available on an ATV accident last night on Midget Camp Road in Fairfield Township, Westmoreland County. That’s a few miles outside of Bolivar. A male was flown by medical helicopter to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown after his four-wheeler crashed at around 8:30 PM.
