Indiana Borough police have released a batch of reports on a number of criminal incidents, including several drug cases filed after the return of laboratory analysis of the substances with which they were caught.
30-year-old Jacob Weber of Indiana and 33-year-old Brady Buzzard of Elderton face charges for having heroin paraphernalia on May 22nd in the 300 block of Philadelphia Street. Both men are charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and Weber is charged with possession of a controlled substance for having pills that were not prescribed to him.
In another case, 22-year-old Brett Hodge of Indiana is charged with possession of heroin drug paraphernalia and crack cocaine drug paraphernalia, in the 400 block of Water Street on June 10th.
45-year-old Helen Sopo of Clymer is charged with possession of marijuana and of a controlled substance for having pot and pills not prescribed to her on July 27th on North 4th Street.
23-year-old Christopher Schroyer is charged with possession of marijuana and of drug paraphernalia, and 19-year-old Larissa Corbett with possession of marijuana. They’re both from Indiana. The incident occurred June 8th on Grandview Avenue.
Others charged with possession of marijuana and of drug paraphernalia include 28-year-old Kadeem Meggett of Shelocta and 29-year-old Brandon Scott of Indiana. 24-year-old Rodney Wagner of Indiana is charged with possession of marijuana, as is 29-year-old Steven Marsh of Blairsville.
19-year-old Caleb Marusa of Northern Cambria is facing charges of possession of a prohibited offensive weapon, possession of marijuana, and of drug paraphernalia. It happened in the 300 block of Philadelphia Street on July 31st.
Indiana Borough police reports that do not involve drugs offenses include charges of harassment and indecent assault against Matthew Novakowski of Indiana. Novakowski is accused of inappropriately touching a female without her consent on Saturday night at a home in the 500 block of Gompers Avenue.
Three young men were caught inside an apartment in the 300 block of South 6th Street on Saturday evening. Borough police say 20-year-old Samuel Stever, 20-year-old Tyler Milsop, and 20-year-old Brandon Dixson were all under the influence of alcohol. They’re charged with underage drinking and criminal trespass.
A thief stole about thirty dollars in cash and a set of golf clubs between Friday night and yesterday morning in the 200 block of Charles Street in Indiana. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 349-2121.
