Paving operations will continue in Indiana Borough, with two crews being sent out today.
Indiana Borough’s public works director Dave Fairman said that one crew will be sent to the Second Street/Gabriel Avenue area to finish paving operations there. A second crew will head over to Rice Avenue and School Street to work on paving in those areas. But that second crew will only come in after they have finished a paving project on IUP Campus.
Fairman also announced a road closure that is not connected with any paving projects. The closure affects North 6th street Between Philadelphia and Water Streets for the British Auto Show being held tonight near the Coventry Inn. The closure goes into effect at 2:30 today.
It’s not known at this time if paving operations will need to continue into the weekend, but Fairman said he would get a better idea of that later today.
Also, this is the final day of closure for Tanoma Road between Route 119 and Rayne Run Road in Rayne Township as paving operations wrap up in that area today.
