The It’s A Wonderful Life Festival organizers are meeting today in Indiana, brainstorming ideas and hoping to attract even more participants this year after a very successful event last year. This is the second meeting organized by Downtown Indiana for this year’s festival, which has picked up title sponsorship this year from First Commonwealth Bank. First Commonwealth’s Amy Jeffords says the bank is working with the Borough of Indiana to provide free parking during the festival hours.
Downtown Indiana’s Dave Janusek says they are looking for people and ideas to cover six weeks of holiday activities, beginning November 17th.
Janusek encourages people from across the region to attend this morning’s meeting, because he says the It’s A Wonderful Life Festival is a regional event that attracts a lot of people to the county. He says there are a number of committees being formed and he is seeking individuals to fill them out.
The meeting today is at 9 AM at First Commonwealth Place at 654 Philadelphia Street in Indiana.
