The Indiana County League championship series between Blairsville and Greensburg will go to Game 6 on Thursday night.
The Greensburg Grays had to answer the bell Wednesday night in Game 5 at One River Field in Blairsville and they did, scoring two runs in the first and sixth innings and four in the third. But one would have done the trick, as Steve Janik shut the Blairsville Colts out on five hits. David Doak led the Colts with two of those hits.
The 8-0 win cut the Colts’ ICL championship series lead to 3-2. The Colts will take another shot at clinching the series Thursday night at Bovard, where they have won two series games.
