Milling work has wrapped up in Indiana Borough as their paving projects continue.
Indiana Borough Public Works Director Dave Fairman said that today’s work will focus on cleaning up from some of the milling operations, and paving on South Third Street in the Washington Street and Locust Street areas. That area is expected to be finished today. Milling work is expected to get underway today on South Street and Garman Avenue near the IUP Campus. Crews are also expected to go back to 2nd street to finish paving operations on 2nd Street and Gabriel Avenue.
Fairman noted that paving operations over the past few days have gone without incident.
Meanwhile, paving continues on Tanoma Road in Rayne Township. A portion of Tanoma between Route 119 and Rayne Run road remains closed for the paving project that is expected to wrap up by the end of the week.
