The Blairsville Colts moved one win closer to their first Indiana County League championship with a 13-8 win Tuesday night over Greensburg at Bovard.
The Colts overcame a 5-3 deficit in the fifth inning by plating 10 runs. Scott and Bobby Thompson each hit doubles in the inning and the big blow was delivered by Ben Doak – a three-run homer.
Jarred Pennavaria and Cameron Livingston each scored three times. Bobby Thompson drove in five runs and shared the team-high of three hits with Livingston. Jordan Truscott also homered for the Colts.
Scott Thompson started for Blairsville and pitched four innings. Neal West, Ben Doak and Bobby Thompson went the rest of the way.
