The Curve topped Erie, 5-3, last night behind the strong pitching of Brandon Waddell.
Waddell was seeing his first action in seven weeks due to a left forearm strain. Tanner Anderson, dispatched to the bullpen, pitched three scoreless innings and Brandon Cumpton picked up the save.
Game two is tonight at 7 pm.
