Speaking of the floods that have hit Indiana County this summer, township and borough governments are still accepting flood reports from citizens so that reports can be compiled for the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency.
White Township Manager Milt Lady said that they have received some reports of flooding, but they would like to get more reports in so they can make an accurate report to PEMA on how much damage was done, and hopefully get some grant money to fix roads in the township. Lady also debunked one of the myths associated with these reports, saying this would not be for any low-interest assistance loan.
Lady added that businesses should also submit flood reports, and include any merchandise that was damaged in the report.
