Heavy rains continue to affect areas of Indiana and Westmoreland County.
At 7:35 this morning, the National Weather Service issued a flood warning for Southern Indiana and Westmoreland Counties until 1:45 PM Saturday afternoon. An inch of rainfall along with the three inches of rain we already got could cause streams and creeks in certain areas to flood their banks.
If you do encounter a flooded area, the National Weather Service advises you to “turn around, don’t drown.” If it is safe for you to do so, we ask that you send us pictures on our facebook page.
Also stay with us on air as we continue to update you on weather conditions throughout the day.
