Four Pitt Football players will miss games in the upcoming season. Head Coach Pat Narduzzi announced that junior safety Jordan Whitehead and Senior Linebacker Quintin Wirginis were suspended for the first three games for violating team policy, starting right guard Alex Bookser was suspended for one game for a DUI arrest he had in the off-season, and Senior Defensive End Rori Blair was given his outright release from the team for what was termed “conduct detrimental to the program.” This makes five disciplinary actions against the team this offseason.
