Paving projects continue to ramp up in Downtown Indiana.
Equipment was moved in earlier this week to the Water Street area between 7th and 4th Streets, and paving operations are getting underway today. Indiana Borough Public Works director David Fairman is saying that people should stay away from that area of Water Street, as there will be traffic delays and stoppages as paving operations begin.
Water Street is the start of the borough’s summer paving project, which will cover several streets in the borough. For many of the affected areas, they will mill the old asphalt surface away, and new asphalt will follow.
