Paul Robert Schalcosky, 71, of Blairsville, PA passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017 in Blairsville, PA.
The son of Edward and Augustine (LaMantia) Schalcosky, he was born May 27, 1946 in Latrobe, PA.
Paul was of the catholic faith.
He graduated from Blairsville High School in 1964 and from Clarion University in 1968. He worked for A & L Motors, Monroeville, for a number of years and retired from Kenny Ross Chevrolet, Irwin, PA.
He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, cooking, helping others, and going to Formula One races.
Surviving are three children, a son, Brian A. Schalcosky of San Diego, CA; a son, David C. (Bridget) Schalcosky of North Wales and a daughter, Stephanie A. (Joseph) Kellar of Indiana; four grandchildren, Caitlin and Emily Schalcosky and Noah and Chloe Kellar; and a brother, Raymond (Shirley) Schalcosky of Colorado Springs, CO.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Cassandra (Murray) Schalcosky on September 1, 2014.
As per Paul’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 510 Pellis Road, Greensburg, PA 15601, in memory of Paul.

Pennsylvania is one of fifteen states that does not require any form of identification in order to vote. Meanwhile, eight states require photo ID in order to vote with no exceptions. What should Pennsylvania do?
Keep it the way it is. No ID of any kind required.
