An Indiana man is facing charges after a domestic dispute allegedly led to physical contact with his daughter on Sunday night.
Indiana Borough police say it happened in the 300 block of Nixon Avenue just before nine o’clock when 33-year-old Matthew Novakowski was arguing with his juvenile daughter. Police say he struck the girl, leading to his arrest. He’s charged with recklessly endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault, and harassment.
Novakowski was charged before District Judge Guy Haberl and released on $5,000 unsecured bond, with a hearing scheduled August 9th.
