Few details are available this morning on a crash involving a tractor trailer that slowed traffic on Route 22 near Blairsville.
Indiana County 911 reported that the crash happened around 2:28 in the afternoon on Thursday as a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer hauling sheets of wood headed east on 22 went off the road and onto the shoulder across from IndiPark Apartments. The extent of any injuries suffered is not known at this time, but we do know there were no fatalities. Blairsville and Blacklick fire departments along with Citizens’ ambulance and the Indiana County HAZMAT team were on the scene along with State Police. Traffic was reportedly tied up or delayed for a few hours while crews investigated the crash and cleaned the scene.
