Typically, there is not much action from our area school boards in July. Several do not even schedule July meetings and others reduce the number of meetings.
Tonight the Marion Center board is scheduled to meet for a work session, and on their agenda is an update of the progress on a roof project, as well as some budget discussion. The board will also acknowledge booster and parent-teacher groups, and review changes to the elementary student handbook and the agreement with the Armstrong Clarion Indiana Drug & Alcohol Commission.
The board has a voting session scheduled next Monday.
